COVID-19 GUIDELINES

The health and safety of our staff and attendees is of the utmost importance to us. With the exciting return to live events, Expotrade is ensuring COVID appropriate hygiene and safety practices are in place and strictly adhered to. By following these important initiatives we can continue rolling out the safe, successful events we are so known for.

Please note that attendees visiting Hobart from interstate are currently required to register their travel 14 days prior to entry. If your State or Territory is declared by Tasmania as a medium/high risk location, or if you have spent time in a medium/high risk location, you will need to declare this prior to entering Tasmania. Expotrade’s safety assurances:

If any attendee is feeling unwell, showing any symptoms of COVID 19 or has been advised to self-isolate, they must not attend this event.

If any attendee, or a member of the attendee’s household, is awaiting COVID-19 test results they must not attend this event.

If any attendee or a member of the attendee’s household have been asked to self-isolate by any medical or government body they must not attend this event.

If any attendee has had a close or indirect contact with a confirmed or suspected COVID-19 case within the last 14 days from the date of the event, they must not attend this event.

If any attendee has visited an exposure site that has been closed due to a confirmed COVID case, they must not attend this event.

Social distancing is encouraged where possible and will be enforced in the following ways:

• Socially distanced queuing at food and beverage stations
• No more than 8 people to a table inside the conference room, and tables spaced 1.5 metres apart
• Clearly marked entry and exit points to minimise crowding

Face masks are optional at this event, unless otherwise indicated by State Government guidelines or venue policies.

Where possible, attendees are encouraged to avoid physical contact (such as handshakes or hugging) with other guests. We recommend that the exchange of business cards and other printed materials is avoided, and encourage attendees to exchange details digitally instead.

Attendees are encouraged to maintain strict personal hygiene, such as thorough hand-washing and sanitising. Hand sanitiser will be available throughout the venue for convenience.

Should attendees wish to share their ticket with colleagues, a separate badge must be printed for each attendee at the registration desk. Badges are not to be shared at any point.
